I just hope to God that they're faithful adaptations and not action flicks like The Mummy looks like it will be.

Hopefully they will make the other films darker to a'lot darker in tone, I do think though that they should of done this as a mini series or TV Show-Guess we will have to wait and see

Phantom could work well in this universe as a proper gothic horror story and with a good script, director, and cast could definitely be put in modern times and still be faithful to its source. I don't think Hunchback belongs in this shared universe at all. The novel wasn't a horror story, but was an analysis of church politics and the prejudices of medieval Europe. I would love to see a faithful interpretation, but as a standalone drama. I actually think it would be cool if Disney did a film of their recent stage production.
