Enjoyed this one!

I’m a big fan of old scary/sci-fi movies, and Haunted Gold fits neatly into the little sub-genre of spooky westerns. Lots of shadows, plenty of action, and a tight running time under an hour make for a fun diversion. John Wayne would go on to bigger and better movies, but it’s interesting to see him here when he’s still so green as an actor.
