The Best Of The Pre-Raffleites

I think that this film has been vastly under rated - it was one of the earliest 'talkies' and as such it was well made for its time. Colman was perfectly cast as Raffles and Bramwell Fletcher was good as Bunny. Certainly it had its silly moments but for the most part it was very entertaining. Highly enjoyable and fun to watch!

You can really tell it's early. You can even hear the camera whirring quite audibly at times. Reminded me a bit of The Usual Suspects. Since they're both on the same DVD, looking forward to seeing how the Olivia deHavilland version compares.
