Anyone knows how the "TOP" is calculated on IMDB?

I was just noticing/thinking the same thing!

I was wondering if the rating - "top 500" or "top 5000" has to do with how many hits they get on their IMDb page? Don't know.

You think it's the hits?

i mean, he was just in DeepWater Horizon. People shout "hit" him a lot just out of curiosity for the film and to see who he is and what he's doing, right? should get even more hits now that a new movie is out.

i'd really like to know how the "tops" are calculated.

He is still acting. He was in a couple films this year and starred in a Taylor Swift music video about a year ago. I'd say that's a big achievement. Not seeing anything lined up right now, so I'm not sure.
