This whole media creation just leaves me cold

It was bad enough when Madonna took her one name moniker.
And Sting or The Edge are pretentious and cheap media hypsters.
But Gaga ... Lady Gaga, it is just something that vapid pre-teen
girls would make up for their fantasy play land. It is looking around
at the great artistic statements of the past that were creative, unique
and came to mean something because they broke new ground and
capitalizing on making an audience feel cool because they know about
it and pay cheap homage to it when they don't really know what the hell
it is.
