Well, I define "preference" in general terms, as in, most white people would rather go out with and marry other white people, same goes for every other ethnicity, it seems.

So I don't define preference by exception, rather by the rule.

We haven't really breached that wall of personal preference to one's own culture/ethnicity en masse just yet.

However, there's plenty of that "exotic" talk. Albeit this "exotic" rhetoric rarely applies to an African American person, unless they looked somewhat "mixed".
