The Klan rallies have probably extending fall meetings, so those guys don't have enough time to come here yet and cause trouble. Don't worry, you just know the bigots will eventually come in force and make their usual asinine comments or some backhanded compliment such as "hot for a black chick" or something like that.

Give it time.

At some point these heterosexual white males are going to come in and talk about how much they like her.

But they won't talk about non-mixed African American actresses who are even more gorgeous.

heterosexual white male here.

I didn't know she was mixed, and I don't care at all. She's beautiful, that's why I'm on this page.

If that's is the case then you are an exception to the rule.

But would you write what you just wrote on a page of, let's say, Regina King, or Regina Hall?

I know I would. They're older than those two you mentioned, but I recall posting how beautiful '60s ladies of color Nichelle Nichols and Ena Hartman were on this site a while back. There are others I have done the same, too, but I can't remember their names at this time. AFAIAC, beautiful is beautiful, whatever the color.

No blah, blah, blah!

True. But you can't deny that MOST white males, on average, would rather go for a lighter skinned black woman with more "mixed", if you will, features.

I have seen this behavior on the net and in real life for some 10 years now.

I agree, but are we talking racism there in the majority of cases or more personal preference instead? A true racist wouldn't want to be around anybody with African ancestry like Candice, however light-skinned (or gorgeous) she might be. Not that there aren't any whites who do make that racial distinction, of course. In fact, there are blacks who also make that distinction with others of similar ancestry, which still surprises me years after discovering that.

No blah, blah, blah!
