He's a chameleon, I agree. He disappears into every role he has played (at least the ones I've seen). Tom plays cocky, nerdy and not too bright very well. He's interpretation of Mr. Bingley in "Lost in Austen" was brilliant. Tom played Bingley with a touch of comedy and silliness.

His director, Lone Scherfig, in the movie "One Day", said this of him. "Tom is a brilliant actor and every moment he acted in this film, is in the film. We have had to trim a lot of scenes down and out. But somehow every thing that Tom did survived. He is a very interesting actor who I'm looking forward to seeing more of. Lots of nuances, and he actually manages to defend Callum, who is not that sympathetic in the script."
