Why does he use a stage last name 'Hill'?

instead of his real surname

I said between 20% and 50% of those celebrities who changed their name were Jewish, you got "about 35%". It's probably a little more than that - you didn't check every single name, so don't act like my information is off. I was spot on, in fact.

You are failing to look at this information proportionally. Let me try to break it down for you.

Assuming you are right, and we use this list as a sample for stats, then 35% of celebrities who change their names are Jewish.

That means, for it to be the case where Jewish celebrities are just as likely to change their name as non-Jewish celebrities, 35% of all celebrities would have to be Jewish.

So, your assertion that

Whether or not Jewish people are over represented in the industry relative to the population has nothing to do with whether or not they do it more than a non-Jewish individual.

Is completely wrong. It is a vital part of the equation.

Jewish people make up only 2% of the US population. That means, for your assertion to be true, they would have to be overrepresented in the industry by 1,750%. That is to say, if you are correct, a Jewish person is 17.5 times more likely to become a celebrity than a non-Jewish person, statistically.

This is statistical analysis, not bigotry. You need to look at things proportionally. Think.
