I concur. I really think she's underrated at this stage, I hope she rises to stardom very quickly and replaces some of the hack teen actresses we have now. Then they'll be saying "Joey King is Queen." I'm also glad she doesn't have a bunch of 30+ year-old perverts lusting over her like a certain other young actress I know.
No doubt about it. I think that she will be the first of her generation to win an Oscar. Chloe Grace Moretz has no chance at it and Bailee Madison has no chance too.

Right. Joey and Elle seem to be going in the right direction. They seem to land minor roles in big movies. As for Chloe, she seems to be trying TOO hard. She ALWAYS wants these heavy roles in dark films. The only noteworthy projects she's done where she could've received critical acclaim are Hugo and The Equalizer. I'll bet if her role in Equalizer were larger, and the movie was submitted to the Academy, Chloe could've been nominated for an Oscar. Same with Hugo. In fact, Hugo did win, or was nominated for a few Oscars, but none for acting.
Did Chloe REALLY think 5th Wave was going to be a hit? It came out in the wake of the Hunger Games films when the whole YA fad was burning out. It bombed, needless to say. Neighbors 2? The sequel NO ONE wanted? Yeah, it failed too. Now she wants to play The Little Mermaid, and will be going against a remake of Splash. I think Chloe should quit acting, stick to modeling and seek a career in politics.
