Kirk?

You miss my point. The original actors are so well recognized that (to me at least) it seems ridiculous to try and re-cast them. I can't think of a worse idea. .. Somebody commented on these very message boards around the time of Insurrection's release that the best thing to do for Star Trek would be to film Shatner's 'Return of Kirk' novels. Either that or just STOP. Nemesis was the first movie to break the 'odds and evens' rule, they should stop before they mess everything up even more.
