Something about his face makes me want to punch him right in the nose

I don't feel this way about other people.

Despite all the great reviews and my affection for Steve Carroll, I never bothered with the second season of "The Office - An American Workplace" mainly because I found Jim so unlikeable, when the character on which he was based, 'Tim Canterbury' had always been so identifiable and empathetic.

Jim, in contrast to Tim, just seemed very smug and self-assured, which made his constant pranks on his colleagues seem more like the act of a bullying jock who had yet to grow up, as opposed to the actions of a put-upon and self-effacing guy desperately trying to find a way to amuse himself/stop himself going insane within such a dreary environment.

So ultimately Krasinski's performance, or to be fair the writing behind his performance, ruined the show for me by turning what should have been the most relatable/likeable character into a jerk.
