About 1969 or so, I got into Neil Young. I doubt anyone was a bigger fan. I bought his first 7 albums. He was the first concert I seen. I think he was one of the most prolific musician from Canada, or anywhere else for that matter. But "most talented"? I don't know, that's totally subjective. I think Gordon Lightfoot, for the most part, wrote better songs. It was like he was singing a novel. He told a story in his songs, along with well crafted music. I've been playing guitar for 55 years, and Neil Young's 4 chord songs were the first songs I ever learned. Cinnamon Girl, Down by the River, Heart of Gold, all 3 and 4 chord songs. Gordons song are actually complicated. I think he was extremely under rated.
