About 1969 or so, I got into Neil Young. I doubt anyone was a bigger fan. I bought his first 7 albums. He was the first concert I seen. I think he was one of the most prolific musician from Canada, or anywhere else for that matter. But "most talented"? I don't know, that's totally subjective. I think Gordon Lightfoot, for the most part, wrote better songs. It was like he was singing a novel. He told a story in his songs, along with well crafted music. I've been playing guitar for 55 years, and Neil Young's 4 chord songs were the first songs I ever learned. Cinnamon Girl, Down by the River, Heart of Gold, all 3 and 4 chord songs. Gordons song are actually complicated. I think he was extremely under rated. Yeah, she's really a smoker. I'm guess that's what caused the raspy voice. LOL I came on here to ask the same question. How far right do you have to be to be considered "far" right? I wonder how the scale looks? You made me actually LOL blacks are "under represented"? You couldn't prove it by any of the movies or TV shows made in the last ten years. Besides that, I don't think "representation" was the topic, I think its more appropriation. Non Jews can't play Jews in movies. This only works with blacks. View all replies >
