Why doesn't he want to play Red Skull again?

I thought he did a very good job. that seems like a tough role to play convincingly, and he did it without going over-the-top while wearing red prosthetics. I liked how he didn't play him as overly maniacal or too "one-note". kudos. If he did return, it'd be interesting to see how much more range can be written into the character. Now, that would be tough.

I want him to come back so bad. I kept expecting to see red skull in cap 2, but feared/knew he wasn't in it. I thought Redford would take over the role. I really hope we see him return. Marvel has done Loki to death, there's no reason that Skull can't return. I just hope it's Hugo playing him. I know he gave the interview where he sorta shrugged it off, but I want to see him again.

HAHAHAHA! If he is under contract, he will show up whenever and wherever studio want him to. Like a dog. That's what contracts are signed for.

Sure, if you want to believe this. He's not a star. If they decided not to include the character in a sequel It's not because he 'asked them to'. They are not family friendly organizations. No studio would ever make a decision not to include someone who is under contract simply because he would rather avoid doing that.

BTW, he was really good Red Skull. I would like to see him return, whether he likes it or not.

He better return for Infinity War because we've only seen Cap America's archnemesis once and *poof*.
