Should she have launched to more fame after Heat?

She's one of these actresses who seems like she should have had a bigger name, especially after Heat, where I thought she gave a great performance, especially given the fact she was acting opposite Al Pacino in one of his bigger roles.

Although the counterpoint to this is that she was 43 in Heat, and while she could pass as younger than 43, it's tragically uncommon for female actresses to really launch in their 40s.
