He looks like Robin Williams

I think he was playing it that way intentionally. I just saw an interview where they said they made all the aliens to look like past movie and TV ailens because it was set in the 60s... I believe this was supposed to be sort of a Time Traveling Mork of sorts. But yes, I had to look twice to see if it was him, very very sad now though.
