'Seberg' to have platform release beginning February 21st

Just read the following over at Deadline ...

Kristen Stewart Pic 'Seberg" To Roll Out In February Following Oscar Qualifying Run

After making its limited qualifying run this Friday, Amazon Studios' Seberg which stars Kristen Stewart as French New Wave icon and FBI target Jean Seberg will have a platform release starting Feb. 21.

So it looks like we might get to see the film on the big screen afterall. We'll just have to wait two more months to do so.
Please note that I'm not saying that we'll all get to see it on February 21st, but some of us might.
Then after a little more waiting, the rest of us should as the so-called platform expands.

Meanwhile, I have read more reviews on the film, all which seem to echo the following: Kristen shines in an otherwise flawed film. One even stated that the reviewer had no doubts that if it wasn't for the flaws in the film, Kristen would have certainly received an Academy Award nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress category.

Oh well, such is life.

Oh yeah, anyone else get to see the photo of what Kristen was wearing at the Seberg premiere the other night?
If not, here it is courtesy of Vogue ...

So she decided to wear that Chanel suit with nothing underneath the jacket. eh?
Pretty daring, if you ask me.

Hmm, I often say with her films that have good, strong, in depth characters that I hope the writers and studios do the story line justice. Looks like this is a case in point where a good story line is somewhat flawed, where it could perhaps have been so much better. I guess though it'll depend also on what audiences think and those who decide the awards.
