Anyone else feel like his prime was wasted?

Maybe by his own choice, but I feel like he could have been a decent action star after king Arthur and shoot up. I enjoy almost all of his films but think he hasn't been as mainstream as he should have been. Now at 52 action days probably behind him oh well... What do you guys think?

He was plenty hot in The Knick!

That show was weird

How was it weird?

Most of the events are based on real life.

reply

If only he was James Bond.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

He should have been James Bond. He was born to do it.
But he's not washed up yet for action movies, Liam Nesson did his first "taken" movie at nearly 60 years old.

This guy needs to start making stuff thats actually mainstream.

He should have been Bond instead of Craig, but there is still plenty ahead--he doesn't seem to age. And Neeson is a good role model for him, too.

Yeah, I was watching Children of Men on TV the other day and suddenly wondered where's this guy now?
He's great and could've been in a lot of blockbusters.

Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down and a Wagging Finger of Shame

He has a similar career path to Sam Neil, who also was far better than the roles he got

i think what happened was everything was sort of building toward him being the new Bond in the media etc which probably helped him land roles in big stuff in that 'theyre about to choose the new Bond' era of 2004/05.. and when that didnt happen its like he went off the boil abit idk.. like before CR maybe studios, casting ppl, directors etc were like 'oh this guys gonna be the next bond we'll cast him' and then after he didnt get cast it was like 'oh he wasnt bond..ok is Daniel Craig available?' - whatever hes still a fantastic actor and shouldve been Bond in 2006
