Retired from acting in the 1990s

David Neidorf was in several great movies of the 1980s that I loved: "Platoon," "Bull Durham," and "Hoosiers." That's a pretty good run there and he was memorable in all 3 of them.

However, he retired from acting in the early 1990s. Apparently, he became a professional poker player.

He was never a leading man, or even a "star," but I thought he was a really good actor. I believe he was interviewed earlier this year and said he didn't regret his decision. Good for him...sometimes, I think getting out of Hollywood is the best thing for an actor/actress.

He doesn't have any posts here, but he does now. I still remember him and enjoyed his performances in these 3 movies.
