Not aging well

So I'm here watching Skinwalkers and the first thing I thought was hey that woman looks like Rhona Mitra but it can't be her because she looks way to old. I looked it up quickly on my phone then that my suspicions were in fact correct. Fast forward to midway through the movie when I find out that she and Jason Behr's character were an item. My initial thought is he looks a lot younger than him. Lo and behold I come to imdb to find out that she is younger than him. What's more surprising is that she was 29/30 when the film was shot. She's either not aging very well or has bad genes.

Well I have to disagree, I think she looks better now then she did when she was younger. When I searched for pictures of her recently, I was surprised at how different she looks from when she was younger. I can't place why she looks different, only that she does and I find her more attractive now then she was in her 20's. Though I haven't seen Hollow Man in forever, I did look for pictures of her in it and I think she looks no different now then when she was in that.

I seriously don't know how people can say she looks older then she is. I'm not good at guessing ages, but I didn't think she looked 40 or older when I first saw her in Skinwalkers. I thought she was really pretty, truthfully that was my first thought when seeing her. Not, "wow, she looks old." When I came on here and saw the year of her birth I didn't think she looked older then she is either.
