I’m an avid fan of Kate Winslet and have seen the majority of her movies. However, having seen Blake Lively, in the "Gossip Girl", "Café Society" and in the recent "The Shallows", I have to confess she is the next great female talent on the rise. In fact, I predict she will eclipse Kate Winslet. Lively has all of Winslet’s acting talents along with being just as beautiful, plus she has a certain screen presence that Winslet doesn’t have. I would be curious if the readers would agree with me on this. It would be hard for me to understand why they wouldn’t.

BTW, I read that Lively performed her own water stunts in the Shallows. Something that Winslet wouldn’t be able to do

Lol she's been playing the same exact role with the same exact disgusting expression since Titanic. Absolutely no range at all. Probably the worst actress working today, if it wasn't for Titanic putting her on the map no one would even take a second look at her.
