Logan as an actor

Thank you for sharing and saying that you can't just prematurely judge an actor on just one or two movies you've seen of their's. I'm so glad you didn't write Logan off and you gave him a chance to prove to you just what he's capable of as an actor. He truly is a gifted young actor and I'm glad you came to that conclusion. Thanks again for your great imput.

Interesting, we arrived at a similar conclusion, but the opposite path. I first watched Percy Jackson, and didn't think much of him, but not in a negative way. He was fine, but not necessarily somebody to take note of.

I wasn't overly impressed with him in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I don't think his performance matched the raves that he received, and he did not match Ezra Miller's ability. I was a little floored as to why this guy was supposed to become the greatest actor of his generation.

Then I re-watched Percy Jackson, and when I realized he was the same guy, I was much more impressed. Two very different characters, and he played them differently. It becomes very clear that he's trying to be a good actor, and can recognize that different characters should have different mannerisms. That makes him much more likable as an actor.

Then I watched Stuck in Love, and I really enjoyed his character this time. Yet again, a different character for him, and this time I felt he really embodied the likability aspect that his Perks character lacked for me.

It took three films, but I see his talent now.

If you watch " Meet Bill" you will find Logan to be pretty good in that film too playing a Prep School kid. The movie plot itself is not exactly a high quality plot , but Logan did his character's job really well and looks like he had a lot of fun doing it IMHO.

His looks is what makes him a popular choice. However, like most boy actors looks fad very quickly!!!

I am guessing he has another few years left before he is gone for good.

He is a decent actor through.
Already looks much older than he did in Gamer or Yuma.

Oh, forgot about Gamer. But he was so young then and didn't have such a big role so I'd let that one slip.

Hem, guys, the world needs even adult actors, not only little heartthrob :-)

Actually you were right the 1st time. His acting sucks and he is an arrogant twit in real life. I only came on here because I am sick of his stupid face crammed down my throat every other dam movie I see lately. I hope he finds a nice black hole to fall into for a good 30 years or so until he learns some humility and some acting skills. What a mook..
