Someone better tell Danielle Young quickly to stay away from Latin America and certain parts of Europe (Like the Graham Norton show).

They kiss people they know on the cheeks as casually as someone in the US might flash a smile towards acquaintances.

Shocking behaviour that needs to be rooted out before anyone else comes to harm.

I do think thigh grabbing is wrong though, just seems a lot of allegations which have come to light recently seem very tame compared to some very real and tangible assaults which have real victims of real abuse fearing to even hint at what they've gone through.

Ask any man in a kilt on Sauchiehall Street on a Friday night about inappropriate groping and you'll get scores of incidences mentioned from women of all walks of life and age ranges. Men just shrug it off as it comes with the territory but it could all spin on a penny and backfire on lots of women who don't appreciate that the concept of sexual harassment at this low level goes both ways.

Being overly familiar with a stranger is wrong, I'm not a touchy person naturally and so I don't have to worry about it. I have had lots of people invade my space in questionable ways though and I don't take them to be malicious in doing so.

For adults to take isolated incidences and use them to try and extrapolate a profile as a sexual predator onto someone from them is very dangerous territory. We've got a dead member of Parliament in Wales today, suicide, and it is heavily suspected that it my have something to do with three allegations of sexual misconduct cast upon them last week. If it turns out they were a rapist then they got off lightly, but if it is some sort of low energy sleazy behaviour in once situation then we need to focus on how this gets to be national news and not HR sending them on a course to understand what is deemed proper in their position.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this is all Weinstein trying to conflate the press to play down his role as a sexual pervert
