Doing a really good job on Fargo

I'm not a huge fan of Jon Hamm, but one thing I know is he is doing such a good job on Fargo against his typecasting that if this is the first role of his one has seen, then that person will probably detest him from this role for the rest of his career.

I imagine as time goes on, he will be recognized for portraying one of the most unlikable characters ever (to be honest, I can't wait for the time his character is taken out - if it happens at all).
