Will we ever get to hear an Acceptance Speech from him

Jon Hamm continues to be shut out on Emmy wins. It has now become an open joke (it was referred to at the Emmys this year). He has done only a little better at the Golden Globes, winning once out of five nominations. Sadly, the year he did win a GG (Mad Men's first season) there was a writers strike and none of the nominees or winners attended the simple announcement ceremony. He has been nominated another five times for an individual SAG award (as opposed to an ensemble award for the whole cast)with no wins. So of the three major award shows which recognize television acting he has dutifully shown up 15 out of 16 times and been sent home empty handed each time. I really like JH and think that Don Draper is one of the 2 or 3 best television characters of all time. I'd like to hear him give an acceptance speech. there might be some posters who will respond to this by pointing out the performances to whom he lost. I knew he would have a tough go of it this year, being in the same category as Bryan Cranston and Matthew McConaughey. I'm just saying that, given the totality of the quality work he has put in he should have more awards to show for it. He has one last chance with Mad Men's upcoming second half of its last season. Good Luck!
