She received a secular exiling from the Iranian government, not a fatwa--which is good, since an insult like that would hardly have been appropriate. At the same time, she wouldn't exactly have qualified for a thinwa. Something in between would've been tolerable.

Yeah, I found it was the cover and pictures from a 2013 issue of a magazine called Egoiste. Will come up in searches, though it's annoying how many sites will crop or censor the images, as if they are something bad.
