I would say in the second Austin Powers, it was a fairly brief and silent role so he didn't leave a major impression. I became more familiar with Kevin's work after Smokin' Aces and when I had re-watched the second Austin Powers a few years back I was like "Kevin Durand? * Checks IMDb* Yep, it is."

Dark Angel S2 with Jessica Alba and Jensen Ackles. I love his character Josua.
If you've never seen it, check it out. Yeah, it's a little cheesy, but still one of my favorite shows.
