Disney Star Wars Curse?

I am creating a new urban legend, so if you'd like please do me a favor and spread this new myth

My theory is that Disney's Star Wars is cursed. On several occasions Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilms have announced future films with trending filmmakers, and in all those cases those trending filmmakers have then immediately released critical flops or divisive stuff

Exhibit A: Rian Johnson is announced to be directing an entire Star Wars trilogy before The Last Jedi's release. TLJ goes on to be extremely polarizing and his trilogy is shelved

Exhibit B: David Benoiff and D.B. Weiss, the Game of Thrones showrunners, are announced as getting their own SW movie. Then the last season of GoT is a disaster

Exhibit C: Patty Jenkins is announced as getting her own SW spin off, then releases WW 1984, which she wrote and directed, and which was hot garbage

Exhibit D: Taika Waititi. Gets his own SW movie, then releases Thor 4 which is his most polarizing film yet

I feel that there can no longer be any doubt: Disney's SW is cursed
