What happened to his career?

I haven’t enjoyed a film by him in very long. With his last few releases, it seems like he makes movies simply for critics. That Boy Scouts movie I found to be pretentious and the kids were annoying. Then that hotel lobby movie, I strongly despised the lead character and found it incredibly dull and boring. Nothing funny or interesting just a bunch of talkey talkey.

And his upcoming movie looks like it will be the same tiresome act. I think I speak for everyone when I say, we want the old Wes Anderson back. What happened to the good ole Wes Anderson we all used to love?
