Man, he must have hated himself. . .

When he played as Fez in That 70's Show. He played the same character that Andy Kaufman played on Taxi. It's degrading. The only thing different about them is that Fez was a disgrace. I like T7S a lot and watched just about every episode and it came to me. Wilmar must straight up hate himself for doing that character.

I'd love to see him get a chance to do more serious stuff.Wish granted.

The CBS series NCIS just picked him up as a regular character.

Didn't you think the DUSK TIL DAWN series counted? (just sayin')
I wonder if this means Wil won't appear in season three? He was a regular character chasing the brothers.
(the rumors are for a third season to be made soon...)

As far as him playing "an immigrant" goes, an actor could certainly do worse.
I happened to be channel surfing a while ago, and Danny Thomas (B+W TV show) was making fun of his large nose, and his being Lebanese. (One of his jokes about his nose went something like "My mother told me the nose was born first, and I eventually grew on it.").
That has been going on for a very long time, and seems to be part of getting acclimated to the USA, and accepted by using humor while still pointing out differences.

and off we go now...
