Jason Statham should be the new James Bond

I love Statham, but think they should go younger for a new Bond, Philip Winchester is my choice. Statham would make a great Bond villain, a old time gangster with ambitions to do harm to the royal family, or a evil arms dealer selling wmd's.

Yeah he could threaten to expose some of the things Princes margaret got up to.

Seriously Bond needs to have a certain look and indeed pretty good enunciation. I have yet to hear Statham actually SPEAK. He does make noises more suitable in a man who will do you harm if you do not obey/return his money. He plays a thug who seems good. Bond no but could they even invent a character his abilities might suit. He does look natural in his movements.

Was he not expendable in that series?

The Mechanic series is already some kind of Statham's version of Bond.

First bald Bond since Connery.
