There was a very simple thing called Scientology's SecCheck files. In those, the person (in this case) the victims (Jane Does) and the perpetrator (Masterson) have to tell their auditor what things they've done. Those things are jotted down in copious pages dedicated to kompromat on the "parishioners." The Jane Does told their auditors what happened. David Miscavige knows what happened, but the impetus is not to give comfort to the victims. Oh no. They are the dirtiest of the dirt according to Scientology as they are making claims against fellow high level "cough"high contributors"cough" to the cult. Since Masterson was a high contributor he is the one who has been "victimized" by the Jane Does who according to Scientology, "did something to bring it in." Meaning, they are the bad ones. They are the ones who should be shunned or disconnected from due to them coming between a Scientologist In Good Standing (Masterson), and the mission to "Clear the Planet."

So everything Masterson did is documented in those auditing files. That is why Judge Olmedo allowed them to come in in the retrial because they were relevant to the finding of fact. Masterson admitted to what he did in the pages of those auditing sessions. That's what got him convicted. He admitted he did it. Scientology chose to protect him, instead of giving the Jane Does justice.
