To which I say, Masterson can go ---- his own self.

Danny Masterson Says Scientology Critics Can 'Go F--k' Themselves

I have a tiny bit of sympathy for this guy, since he was born into Hubbard's cult, but still.

The Church of Scientology is not pleased with the documentary [ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4257858/combined ], and neither is Masterson, a second generation Scientologist, who told the magazine, "I heard about that documentary; the documentary where they interviewed eight people who hate Scientology. Should be pretty interesting. I wonder if Sundance would allow a documentary of, like, eight people who hate Judaism. But you know, my religion's fair game, I guess, 'cause it's new."

Masterson told the magazine he's never openly discussed his beliefs before, but he's just a "spiritual being who likes to understand why things happen in the world and want[s] to learn more so that [he] can have them not affect [him] adversely."

"So if that's weird, then, well, you can go ---- yourself," he said.

If Danny really said that then he needs to be "audited" (spend time with a counselor holding on to cans connected to an "e-meter to judge how he is reacting on an emotional level) to get rid of whatever "engrams" (hurtful moments frozen in time from past or present lives) that are causing him to react angrily based on that instead of what is happening in real time.

I took a couple of beginner classes but, as a Christian, quit because I felt I was being pushed to "worship" L. Ron Hubbard (such as applauding his picture at the end of a study session. I don't worship anyone but Jesus Christ). I was told that I could be a Christian and a Scientologist, but it seemed like they were just saying that to get me to stay until I "saw the light and that Christianity was bogus."

Some of the stuff in the beginner classes did help me at the time with some emotional issues I was dealing with but I could see that the parts that helped me actually had been taken from other sources (such as psychology).

If the organization really did want to help the world, they wouldn't charge such huge prices for "auditing" sessions. Also, with their new "leader" and his behavior, I don't see how Danny can continue to believe.

As you can tell from my post, I should be classified as "repressive" and PTS (potential trouble source) and yet a couple of years ago (when I hadn't take a class in over 25 years), I started getting Scientology magazines and mailings and it took me over a year to get them to stop sending me the stuff. I was embarrassed by what my mailman would think seeing me get the stuff. I called L.A several times and sent letters identifying myself as "repressive" and PTS but it still took all that time for the mailings to stop.

This positively infantile preoccupation with bosoms!Terry-Thomas about US 1963.Hasnt changed much!
