I think she may have emailed me back in the 1990s.

I just re-watched her in "The Mask of Zorro" and remembered this.

Back in the mid-90s when IMDB was a novelty, I posted a complimentary post on her forum after seeing her in "The Phantom". My username at that point was my email address. I was very tasteful and non-stalkerish in my enthusiasm for her looks and acting talents, and I mentioned that I had been an admirer of hers ever since seeing her in "Christopher Columbus: The Discovery" back in 1992. I compared her looks favorably to several classic exotic, dark-haired actresses.

So the very next day, I get this strange email from some anonymous woman who said she just randomly made up an email address and sent a message to see "what might develop".

We exchanged a few emails. She asked me my age, and if I was single. She told me she was 'in theater' when I asked what she did for a living. We exchanged a few little non-specific bits of info, like types of music, food, literature we liked, etc. The next time we emailed, she asked if I happened to live in the UK. I said no. That's the last I ever heard from her.

I have no way of knowing if it was really CZJ or not, but I do recall hearing that at that stage in her career she would often communicate with her fans.

Who knows? Probably was just some random woman who made up a fake email identical to my own, but it's fun to imagine it was her.
