Senza ragione

I saw Telly Savalas in an Italian film called Senza ragione (1973) and he plays a crook on the run with Franco Nero. There is a scene where they are close to a bridge and a young boy sees them and Savalas shoots him. The scene really reminded me of Todd shooting the dirt bike boy in Breaking Bad. Anyone else?
