How is his Oscar chances for Birdman?

Edward Norton is among my favorite actors so I would love for him to get a nomination this year. Currently there is quite a lot of Oscar buzz for not just the movie and Michael Keaton but for his performance (which actually surprised me a bit since his role doesn't look all that meaty in the trailer). What do you consider his chances are of a nomination and perhaps even a win for Birdman?

The amount of screentime someone has, has nothing to do with their chances of getting a nomination or winning. Lupita N'Yongo had like 12 minutes of screentime in 12 Years A Slave, and not only was she nominated, but she also won. Anna Hathaway dies very early in Les Miserables, and she also won. Christoph Waltz was gone for the last half hour of Django Unchained and still won. You get where I am going with this. There are several Oscar nominees/winners who had minimal screentime. With that said Norton will probably get a nomination, but J.K. Simmons is going to win.
