Loved Hal Holbrook in Capricorn One. It was the perfect post Watergate conspiracy thriller. Holbrook plays the NASA official who wants to fake the Mars landing as the life support system on the rocket is faulty. His speech to the three astronauts is filled with cynicism, fake patriotism and self justification. It is a marvel to watch him as he sounds so reasonable. Holbrook was great at portraying establishment figures who were corrupt. The Firm, Star Chamber and Magnum Force.
