Why didn't she last on Criminal Minds?

I don't know how she does it, but she has an amazing ability to keep getting hired.

Wasn't just because of her weight, was it? Lol... the "weight" was the baby in her belly. JLH took a year off from working after her firstborn and then with her second pregnancy during her CM run she left the series. The producers mentioned that she could come back if she wanted but there's not been any other word about a return. No one knows. She's been a director and producer, so she may return behind the camera instead... or not. It's been very quiet. She's being a mom for two.

She was pregnant, thats why

She has absolutely no need to ever work again if she does not want to, right?

She's always been a workaholic until she found her man and had a children. She's been steadily working since she was a tiny preteen. Professionally. She owned two very gorgeous homes in a very upscale area of LA. Since her mother passed away she moved on to another smaller beautiful home in another upscale area. It's obvious she doesn't need the money, but will she be satisfied being just a professional mom? I can't imagine that becoming the reality.

I see that her previous residence was in Toluca Lake. Toluca Lake is famous for being Bob Hope's residence. I don't know the exact location but I am sure it is a nice house. I lived about five miles from Toluca Lake when I was growing up and I would not have thought of it as extravagant. It is a relatively modest neighborhood for someone as successful as she. It isn't even on the rich side of Ventura Boulevard.

Her current residence is also nice but also not extravagant. The house is nice but the backyard is just a pool and patio, nothing more. The lawn in the front yard is very tiny. They will want to move to a house with a yard when the kids get older. Or they could get another place with a big yard.

I respect her for living consistent with her means but not extravagantly.

One of the two original homes was lakeside at Toluca, patio with boat dock in the back with that view. You may want to see how much those homes fetch these days, lol. Her mother lived across the street. Both would be rather valuable on the open market.
