From what I've read, he's acquired the rights to a book about racing. I don't know any more than what's on the website so, draw your own conclusions.
Leigh Diffey (one of the Speed announcers that I swear has a man crush on Patrick) announced it on air during the 24 hour race. I immediately looked the book up and it sounds really good. I got myself a copy but haven't gotten the time to read it yet but I'm always looking for more books to read, hehehe.
I think Patrick could do a really job with this movie. It sounds like an amazing book, very much a story about life and those always tend to be amazing. I'm really excited to see when this all comes together.
