I met him today hiking!

I was hiking today with my family at Los Lioness Canyon in Pacific Palisades CA, right before noon, and in front of us was a group of 4 people and we noticed a small girl about 3 or 4 years old on the hike which we thought was impressive. Anyhow at the halfway point up we stopped near them to catch our breath in the shade near a rock and I was just relaxing with my family on a gorgeous 75 degree day in Southern California. Anyhow I noticed this group of people taking pics and I offered to take one for them but they said that was ok, and then I realized I was standing and looking directly at Benicio. I asked him, hey are you Benicio Del Toro, and he smiled and said yes. Not wanting to be a bothersome fan or irritate them I simply said, you're a great actor, and he said thanks, and then we both went on our way. Nothing revolutionary I realize but he seemed like a really relaxed friendly dude for someone so famous. Anyhow we kept stopping up the hike since my parents are both in their low 70's and we crossed paths as they were coming down and we were still going up. Spotting him from a distance I didn't want to bother him again so I basically moved to the side to let them cross and didn't bother to make eye contact or acknowledge them but he actually stopped and said "Hello again" to me and my parents and smiled again as they walked past us down the mountain. Anyhow granted this is a very basic interaction but I was pretty thrilled to run into one of my favorite actors of all time and he seemed genuinely nice and friendly and I just wanted to share this simple story on imdb lol. He was wearing a baseball cap so maybe others didn't really notice him but hopefully nobody bothered him so he had a good time with his friends. I really wish I would have said something more specific, like hey you really stole the show in Sicario or your portrayal of that character in Sicario really made that movie exponentially more captivating but all I could say was, you're a great actor, haha.
