Did not deserve his oscar

Loveleen Tandan directed all the Indian scenes, which is basically 1/2 or more of the film and she got nothing.

Film is a director's artistic medium and they collaborate a lot. She was merely helping him reach his vision. It was not her direction, it was him directing her. He was the captain, the fearless leader.

While I loved Slumdog, I did think it was slightly overrated but I think out of the other nominees, he deserves it most.

The Dark Knight is great and my favorite comic book movie (and I LOVE comic books though I'm more of a Marvel comics fan and a DC movies fan...) and I like Christopher Nolan but my idea of the BEST movie is something that has everything in it; action, adventure, love, hate, something heartfelt and meaningful with a message that everybody can relate to and something that is different, dynamic, tragic, and inspiring.

Slumdog did all of that. The Dark Knight is merely an amazing action movie. Heath Ledger was deserving of his posthumous Oscar and The Dark Knight and Christopher Nolan deserve their nominations and recognition but Danny Boyle was the leading force behind such an ambitious project that hasn't been done before.

He deserves his Oscar and I even think that he deserves to be nominated this year, too. I think 127 Hours is better than Slumdog and he should have had some recognition, same with Christopher Nolan though. Although, I think Darren Aronofsky should have won this year for Black Swan, 127 Hours should have won for best picture in my opinion as it did all of the aforementioned things. It was beautiful and moving, something that I don't think the King's Speech quite achieved. I'm glad that The Social Network didn't win, though.

Where is fancy bred? In the heart or in the head?
