Ms. Tunney, take heed!

For you are on your way up!!
Ms. T. is extremely under rated and under exposed! I LOVE her character in 'Niagara Niagara'. I can't even imagine anyone else playing that part.
Now, there have been some so-so parts,"Open Window","Paparazzi" being two, that I didn't particularly care for. I just don't think she's convincing as a victim. She's much better at being a strong young woman, even in the face of such illnesses and dissocial disorders. I like her role as Lisbon, too, in The Mentalist. She's not trying to play the cutesy little lady cop that can be tough. She IS tough. You go Robin! And please give Simon Baker a kiss from me!

I agree. Ms. Tunney is a remarkable actress, and a sure underrated one at that. I am happy to see her in a highly successful show, but I hope that doesn't tie her down. I would like to see her film career move forward too sometime.

It's nice to know that someone out there appreciates the same thing I do, every once in a while, anyway. For the most part, I catch sh*t every time I post a comment on here. Lose all kinds of sleep over it, too. ;p
Anyway, I really like her. She isn't getting any younger, and like you said, I hate to see her get stuck on T.V.. Did you see "Niagara Niagara"? I will never forget her character, and I can't imagine anyone else playing it.
Let's hope her role as Lisbon just gives her buzz, and the right person is in the right place at the right time, and then....BAM! A huge, brilliant bright light emerges as a huge star! I really do hope you go far, Ms. Tunney.

I loved "Niagra Niagra". You're right, no one better for that part. I have indeed, been a fan of Funny Tunney since her "Craft" days, and I hope she continues to work in film too. I'd personally love to see her onstage. That would be nice. I also think Tunney has gotten better with age. She's totally fantastic, and I bet she'll only get better. She's great.

I meant to watch that...even though it is a lifetime movie. I know she plays a baddie, as I saw previews for it in anticipation for her and her only. Anyway, I'll catch it someday.

lol yea, I HATE those stupid 'victim'...'based on a true story'...friggin Lifetime movies. I'd almost rather choke on my own vomit! ha ha But anyway, I recorded it, and ffd thru 80% of the movie(if movie is even what you would call it). I'm not too hip to that whole 'HULU' thing yet, but you might be able to catch it on there.(?) Anyway, I think you'll be impressed by her performance in it!
