I enjoyed several of her movies. I totally didn't get the memo as to why she didn't do films for a while there.

Yeah,I liked this actress and wondered what the heck happened to her---I was kind of impressed with her in GET SHORTY, which was a cool film anyway, and one in which she played more than just the typical girlfriend role and made it a little more interesting than it usually would be in an H-wood film. . She seemed to be everywhere in the '90's, and then after a while she just vanished. It seemed like she would have a career like Julianne Moore (who's still very much active) and still be doing good films, but I guess when she became a parent,that probably all changed. Interesting to see she's coming back,though.
