For really making a comeback by doing action movies with a lot of violence and gun play, it is amusing that he has puked his opinion out about gun ownership in the United States, even going so far as to say he doesnt believe in the Second Amendment right to bear arms. Hollywood liberals. It is unfortunate that not all of us can live in secure million dollar neighborhoods.

Quite the reverse: people might be revolted by cannibalism as such, but in these movies it is commented on with a wink and a nudge, and is meant to be found bizarrely amusing.

The character of Hannibal Lector is compelling, intelligent, witty and urbane, in others words, extremely attractive, albeit a rather macabre attractiveness. Don't forget the silky voice. The downside, of course, is that he's mad as a hatter.
