I loved him as an actor but portraying a child rapist who caused misery in Kinsey as a 'lightearted' man who could do no wrong turned my stomach. He should have researched the role ..or if he did and still chose to play him as a scientist . Child rape in babies isn't something to be admired or perhaps he enjoys the research kinsey did ? You're a sick man.As a dad didn't he think ?
If you hate an actor forever because of a performance he gave, it's sort of a left handed compliment. It means his performance was perfection. To this day, I can't stand actress Maureen Stapleton because she played the evil Emma Goldman convincingly in "Reds" and won an Oscar for it to boot. Yet she seemed like a perfectly charming person during her acceptance speech. Sorry Maureen, you were just too good!
