I recently watched braveheart and also remember sophie in the world is not enough. She is obviously very attractive and gave very decent performances in both. I looked up on Wikipedia to see what other films she had done and was very surprised to see that was pretty much the end of her career outside of France. Was it a personal decision or was she simply not offered any more roles?

She remained focused on France and Europe mostly.
She is also a bit vocal and seems to say exactly what she thinks - on her co-stars... that never helps anyone's career.
