7 months today 😞😞😞😞

Today it's been 7 months since the great William Hurt passed. I miss him so much and still cry when I think about him. I'm again commemorating the day by sharing another movie from his extensive list. This is one most people probably never heard of.

Contaminated Man (2000)

Summery:

In 1986, David Whitman (William Hurt) came home, contaminated his wife and child, and watched them die. Years later, he leads a hazmat team investigating an industrial accident near Budapest. One contaminated man (Peter Weller) escaped. Terrorist expert Holly Anderson (Natascha McElhone) is part of a unit which operates on the premise that the contaminated man is a terrorist murdering his victims. Whitman, on the other hand, believes the contaminated man to be an innocent victim. Either way, the contaminated man must be found, because after he touches people, they live only a few minutes.

Directed by: Anthony Hickox

It's a pretty good movie. Better than it's rating. The only part of the movie I didn't like was Natascha McElhone's character and also the actress's performance. Up until she enters the picture, the movie is very serious. For some ungodly reason, I guess they wrote her character to be some kind of comedy relief. But it does not work at all. She's very annoying and irritating and basically acts like an asshole. And even though I know that quite a lot of people like this actress, her acting in this is horrible. For the first 2/3 of her performance, I really just couldn't stand her. The last third of her part in the movie was not so bad when she started acting like a normal person. Anyway other than her and her character, this movie is actually pretty good. Peter Weller is unrecognizable in this but does a very good job with what he's given. Another thing I should tell you about the movie is that it's not about a virus. It's a contaminant that when exposed to causes a deadly allergic reaction.

So here's a link to the full movie with no ads, no pop-ups, no sign in, no registration. Hope you enjoy.
