love a lot of his movies BUT

But as an actor he doesn't blow me away. he suits a lot of the parts (especially criminals) and can't fault his acting. I loved his last two films even though everyone else near enough hates the last one live by night

Ben never owned a scene like Pete Postlethwaite did in his film the town or makes his characters memorable larger than life like a Deniro and Pacino . But i suppose that's what i like about his films. in real life a lot of the characters he plays are not larger than life. Suppose he relies on a great script for his films to shine
