COULDN'T agree more. one of my all time favourite scenes. both are immense in the scene. don't get where all this affleck can't act shit

i dont see doug going around to claire regardless of whether she answered phone to him
doug was spying on her from another apartment. i think he only phoned her to test
also what i dont like is doug leaving all that money to krista
also kind of spoiled it that scene after rusty drops off getaway car. shows the domican guys meeting up with fergie
but doug clearly didn't trust him. there's a scene in that cut were it shows gloemesy parking the getaway car with rusty. doug talks like he is suspicious of fergue
also doug would be weary of using a car because whole police force would be out blocking routes in and out of boston
i can't see doug falling for that setup by fergie
watched it loads of times like one of my favourites. doubt whether its up there with the greats overall as a story and film.
The florist scene were the truth comes out about dougs mother and father, is up there with the greatest acted scenes in history. pete postlethwaite deserved an oscar just for that scene alone
